Roofing Warranties

30-Year Material and 10-Year Workmanship

Every new roof we install includes a standard 30-year material warranty and a 10-year workmanship warranty, giving Metro Detroit homeowners long-term peace of mind whether we’re installing shingles or metal roofing.

Warranty Options

Our Standard Roofing Warranty

Every roof we install comes with two layers of protection: a 30-year material warranty from the manufacturer and a
10-year workmanship warranty from Thomas Waligorski Roofing. Whether we’re installing shingles or metal roofing, the goal
is simple—modern materials, installed the right way, backed by a local company that’s been here since 1968.

30-Year Material Warranty on New Roofs

The 30-year material warranty covers defects in the roofing products themselves when they’re installed as part of a complete
system and used as intended. We install full roofing systems from brands like CertainTeed, Owens Corning, Tamko, and GAF, and we
follow each manufacturer’s guidelines so your product warranty stays in good standing.

During your estimate, we’ll explain which products we recommend for your home or building and walk you through the basic terms of the material
warranty in plain language—no confusing fine print.

10-Year Workmanship Warranty on Replacements

On full roof replacements, we stand behind our installation with a 10-year workmanship warranty. That means if an issue shows up
that’s related to how your new roof was installed within the first ten years, we’ll come back out, take a look, and make it right.

This covers things like leaks caused by improper flashing, fastening, or other installation-related problems—not damage from storms, debris, or
normal aging. It’s our way of backing up the craftsmanship our name is on.

10-Year Workmanship Warranty on Qualifying Repairs

Many roof issues don’t require a full replacement. For qualifying roof repairs, we also offer a
10-year workmanship warranty on the area we repair. If a problem develops in that repaired section due to our installation work
during that period, we’ll come back to inspect it and address the issue.

We’ll let you know during your estimate whether your repair qualifies for this workmanship coverage and what’s included, so you know exactly
what to expect before we begin.

How Manufacturer Warranties and Our Warranty Work Together

Manufacturer warranties and our workmanship warranty cover two different things. The manufacturer is responsible for the roofing products
themselves, while we’re responsible for the installation. When you choose a roofing system from CertainTeed, Owens Corning,
Tamko, or GAF, you get the strength of a national brand paired with a local roofer who’s willing to put their name on the work.

If you ever have a question about what’s covered or how a warranty claim would work, just ask. We’re happy to explain the details and help you
feel comfortable with the protection on your roof.
