Meet Matt Waligorski
Hi, I’m Matt Waligorski, owner of Tom Waligorski Roofing here in Dearborn Heights. My dad started this business back in 1968, and after he passed I decided to step in and keep his legacy alive. I moved back home in 2024 and it feels good to be roofing in the same neighborhoods I grew up in. When I’m not on a roof, you’ll probably find me running the roads with my dogs, golfing at Warren Valley, or working out at the Dearborn Racquet & Health Club. I’m proud of the work we do, the fair pricing we offer, and the honesty and integrity we bring to every project—whether it’s a small roof repair or a full replacement. We do our best work every day, stand behind it, and if there’s ever a problem, we make it right.

Free Roof Inspection & Estimate
We start with a quick conversation about your roof, then come out to inspect the shingles, flashing, ventilation, and problem areas. After we’ve seen everything in person, we explain what we found and share clear options so you can decide what makes the most sense for your home or building.
Honest Recommendations & Scheduling
You’ll get a written estimate that lays out materials, scope of work, and timing—no confusing bundles or pushy add-ons. Once you’re comfortable with the plan, we schedule your project at a time that works for you and your household or business.
Professional Installation & Clean Job Site
Our crew shows up on time, protects your property, and gets to work. We tear off old materials as needed, fix underlying issues, and install your new roofing system the right way, paying attention to details like flashing and ventilation. At the end of each day, we clean up so your yard and driveway stay usable.
Final Walkthrough & Long-Term Support
When the job is done, we walk the project with you, answer questions, and make sure everything looks the way it should. If anything ever doesn’t seem right after we leave, you call us and we come back out—no runaround, just a local roofing company standing behind its work.

Every new roof we install includes a standard 30-year material warranty and a 10-year workmanship warranty, no matter which brand you choose—CertainTeed, Owens Corning, Tamko, or GAF. During your estimate, we’ll walk you through the warranty details and available payment plans so you can pick what fits your home and budget.

We’re based in Dearborn Heights and spend most of our days on roofs around Dearborn, Garden City, Westland, Livonia, Canton, Taylor, Detroit, Redford, and nearby Metro Detroit neighborhoods.
